Meet Cross Donati

You didn’t get one last month, so our October Bae is a total treat! Cross Donati is the star of Bethany Kris’ Always. He’s  unapologetic, gorgeous, passionate, and Mafia royalty. Cross loves like he lives, rough.  And we have him all to ourselves for a while.

1 — Cross, tell us a little about yourself.

Look up arrogant in the dictionary. My picture is right there.

I like leather, Doc Martens, guns, good food, a hard fuck, Sunday church, and a girl with green eyes.

Depending on where you pick up my story, I can be anywhere from a teenager, to a man well into my marriage and life. I’ve always been a little difficult and different. I have few enemies, and fewer friends. A single love has ruled my life, changed my games, and determined every step I took.

I say what I say and I do what I want. And I regretted none of it.

2 — What is it like to grow up a Principe della Mafia?

Suffocating and freeing. It is always both.

3 — You’re described as a wild boy by those who know you. Why is that?

I have no filter. I’ve not been given set rules to follow. The scant rules I have been given, I push to their limits. I’m restless. And difficult. Stubborn, and short-fused. I leave far more often than I stay.

4 — People in your world tend to be ruthless in order to survive. How do you balance that?

There’s a balance? I have yet to find it. A smart man once told me that too many think this is a birthright for men like me, but often forget we are just as much made as they are.

5 — Do you ever regret anything or is it no regrets for you?

I’m pretty much a no regrets type. I do what I want.  

6 — So Cross, if you could have been born into a blue-collar life. What line of work would you have pursued? Or is that something you just don’t think about?

Music, likely. But I like this just fine, too.

7 — I’ve heard that you’re in love with a woman Catherine. Can you describe her in your own words?

 She’s … life. Amazing, beautiful, perfect. Sly. Sneaky. Too smart for her own good. A little bit broken. Everything good, honest, and innocent. And everything bad. She’s mine.

8 — What made you fall for her? What makes her different than every other girl you’ve known?

Well, she’s like me. She comes from the same world I do, and that interested me. I don’t tend to find very much interesting about other people at all. I don’t people. She’s not like other people—she’s … in her own world. Her own league. Like me.

9 — In bed, do you always have to be dominant or are you willing to let your woman have the power at times?

 Depends on the point in my life—younger, it didn’t matter. Older, I like my control.

10  —How do you like your sex, with a little rough and rope or silk scarves and blindfolds?

More rough than soft. More dirty than sweet.
